#  Bhabha Atomic Centre Notification Eligibility Criteria :

(A). Educational Qualification :

(i). For Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Group-B) :  Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Chemistry (B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks, Chemistry as main and Maths, Physics as Subsidiary Subjects) or in relevant engineering discipline.

(ii). For Stipendiary Trainee Category -II (Group-C) other than Plant Operator :

1. SSC minimum 60% of marks (with Science and Maths).

2. NTC (ITI pass) of 2 years or NAC or 2 years as Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

3. NTC (ITI pass) of 1 year + additional one year of work experience after course completion or NAC of 1 year + additional minimum of one year under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

(iii). For Plant Operator : Higher Secondary (12th ) Pass with minimum of 60% marks (Physics, Chemistry and Maths Subject Stream)

(iv). For Laboratory Assistant : 

1. 12th (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths) Science Stream with 60% of marks OR SSC (Science and Maths) with 60% of minimum marks with Laboratory Assistant Trade Certificate.

2. Trade Certificate : NTC ITI 2 years Pass OR NAC 2 years pass. OR NTC of 1 year + additional 1 year of  work experience OR NAC of 1 years + additional minimum 1 years of Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

(v). For Technician C (Boiler Operator) : SSC with First Class Boiler Attendant’s Certificate Approved by any Government body.

(vi). For Technician B (Painter) :

1. SSC (10th) with Science and Maths with 60% of marks + Certificate of Painter Trade.

2. NTC ITI pass of 2 year  OR NAC of 2 year OR NTC ITI pass of 1 year + additional 1 year of work experience OR NAC of 1 years +  additional 1 year of Apprenticeship Training Scheme.

(B). Age Limits Calculated on Date 31 January 2021 :

Postwise Age Bars :

1. For Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Group -B) :

i. Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years.

ii. Maximum Age Limit : 24 Years.

2. For Stipendiary Trainee Category-II (Group-C) :

i. Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years.

ii. Maximum Age Limit : 22 Years.

3. For Technician C (Boiler Operator) :

i. Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years.

ii. Maximum Age Limit : 25 Years.

4. For Technician B (Painter) :

i. Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years.

ii. Maximum Age Limit : 25 Years.

Relaxation of age available under Govt. rules and regulation.

# Selection Process :

Selection of the applicants  in this BARC notification recruitment drive is  based on marks obtained in written examination and interview along with document verification.

1. For Category-I : 

i. Written exam of 1 hour having 40 MCQs will be conducted. The questioned asked here will be of Diploma / B.Sc. level. Candidates selected in the written examination will be called for interview. There are 3 marks for each correct answer and a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

ii. There is no marks weightage of written examination marks as final list of selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of interview performance. Marks obtained in written examination will be used to shortlist the applicants for interview.

2. For Category-2 :  This Selection process consists three steps.

i. Step-1  (Preliminary Examination) :  This is a screening examination that will be held for screening of candidates. This exam will be in common format for all trades. The examination will be of 1 hour duration for 50 MCQs. Subjects are Science : 20 Questions, General Awareness : 10 Questions, Mathematics : 20 Questions.

ii. Step-2 (Advanced Examination / Test) : All the applicants who qualify the stage-1 will be called for stage-2 examination that will be of their respective trade. This advanced test will be or 2 hours duration for 50 MCQs. Having 3 marks for correct and -1 marks for incorrect answer. Merit list of shortlisted candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in stage-2 examination only. Candidates having marks greater than 30% in General Category and greater than 20% in reserved category will be taken in consideration.

iii. Step-3  (Skill Test) : All the candidates shortlisted based on the performance in stage-2 will be called for Stage-3 examination. Only the 4 to 5 times number of total vacancies candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-3 skill test. All the candidates who clear the skill test will be shortlisted and empaneled on the basis of marks obtained in Stage-2 examination. Skill test is of qualifying nature (Going / Not Going Basis) only.

# BARC Admit Card 2021 :

All the Applicants who full fill the eligibility criteria according to the BARC notification will be issued Admit Cards / Roll Number Slips / Call Letters. This Admit Card will work as a mandatory document for entry in the written test.

# BARC Salary Structure :

All finally selected candidates under this recruitment drive will get the salary as below :

1. Stipendiary Trainee Category-I (Group B) : 16000/-INR for First Year, 18000/-INR for Second Year.

2. Stipendiary Trainee Category-II (Group C) : 10,500/-INR for First Year, and 12,500/-INR for Second Year.

3. Scientific Assistant C : 44,900/-INR per month.

4. Technician C (Boiler Operator) – 21,700/-INR per month.
