Academic qualifications:

Registrar’s Assistant:

Good academic record plus a Masters’ degree with at least 55% of the marks or a B on the UGC seven-point scale.

Assistant Personal:

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is required. Three years of experience as a stenographer or steno typist in government academic institutes, open learning distance institutes, autonomous bodies, or the public sector.

Library Information Specialist:

Master’s Degree in Library Science with a minimum of 60%. A bachelor’s degree in science with at least 60% marks is required. 3 years of relevant experience in a library/computerization of a library or a one-year certificate in computer application from a recognised institution or equivalent.

Senior Assistant:

Graduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with working knowledge of computers.

Stenographer:

Passed the Senior Secondary School (10+2) Exam. In English, shorthand speed is 80 words per minute while typing speed is 40 words per minute (or) In Hindi, shorthand speed is 60 words per minute and typing speed is 30 words per minute.

Age Limits:

35 years as an assistant registrar

30 years as a personal assistant

27 years as a library information assistant

27 years as a senior assistant

27 years as a stenographer
