Qualifications in Education:

Fire Engine Driver:

Must have graduated from a recognised board with a Matriculation or its equivalent. Must possess a valid driver’s licence and have at least three years of experience operating heavy vehicles. Must have completed the following test, be physically fit, and be able to execute demanding duties: – 165 cm in height without shoes. With the caveat that people from the Scheduled Tribes are given a height allowance of 2.5 cm. 81.5 CMS for the un-expanded chest 85 cm for the chest after expansion. 50 kg is the minimum weight. Endurance Tests include lifting a man (a firefighter weighing 63.5 kg) 183 metres away in 96 seconds and landing in a ditch that is 2.7 metres wide (long jump). using hands and feet to climb a rope that is three metres vertical.

Fireman:

must have completed high school or its equivalent. Must be in good physical condition and able to execute demanding tasks. This criterion will be examined as follows: 165 cm in height without shoes. With the caveat that people from the Scheduled Tribes may receive a height concession of 2.5 cm. chest measurements are 81.5 cm at rest and 85 cm after expansion. 50 kg is the minimum weight. Recruitment for the Indian Navy 2022 Selection Process:

Physical examination. All qualified applicants for the positions of Fireman and Fire Engine Driver must pass a physical fitness exam in accordance with the required criteria. The precise date, time, and location will be sent to the qualified applicants via mail or post.

Letter of Provisional Appointment. Subject to passing the document verification, medical examination, and other requirements outlined by the Government of India and the Appointing Authority, the appointment of candidates who have been provisionally chosen shall solely be based on merit.

Verification of documents. According to current DOP&T policy, all pertinent documents regarding to age, education, identification, address, category, caste, service, etc. shall be examined and validated before a provisional appointment. The provisionally selected candidates will be notified of the date and location for document verification via email or postal mail using their registered e-mail addresses.

Detailed Eligibility:

Qualifications in Education:

For a person to be eligible for apprenticeship training in Designated Trades, they must have completed Grade 10 (in accordance with the Apprentice Act of 1961) with a minimum of 50% on the exam, as well as an ITI examination (a Provisional National Trade Certificate is acceptable) in the relevant trade with an overall score of 65%. The candidate should also possess the qualification and have passed the pertinent ITI or trade test from a facility certified by NCVT. Candidates must have completed Grade 8 (without an ITI) in order to be registered as a “Fresher” rigger, and Grade 10 in order to be a forger and heat treater (without ITI).
