The Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology is in Indore. The Raja Ramana Centre for Advanced Technology is a division of the Department of Atomic Energy, the Government of India. Selection Procedure for RRCAT Recruitment:

Level 1 Test for Driver Written test for general intelligence, general awareness, basic math, general English, and general Hindi. Driving Techniques & Motor Car Mechanism is a test of knowledge about driving techniques, duties of drivers, fuel economy, basic vehicle maintenance, servicing, emergency handling techniques, tools and documents needed with the vehicle, different vehicle types, traffic laws and regulations, and the ability to recognise traffic signals, signs, hand signals, and road markings. It also includes simple questions about the various vehicle system assemblies.

Shortlists of candidates for Level 2 will be made in a ratio of 1:20. However, the lowest cut-off cannot be set at less than 50% for the Unreserved category and 40% for the Reserved category. Driving Test at Level 2. Driving tests were designed to evaluate a driver’s driving abilities and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations as well as motor mechanics. The candidate’s final selection will be based on the 40 percent of Level-1 and 60 percent of Level-2 marks they received.

For the Stage-1 position of Driver/Pump Operator/Fireman: The applicant will be contacted for a physical examination if they meet the requirements. Standard: no deviation, Minimum height is 165 cm; maximum weight is 50 kg (minimum), Minimum chest measurements: 81 cm; maximum chest measurements: 86 cm; unaided vision of 6/6. Being night blind will disqualify you.

Those who pass the driving exam, and the physical standard must take the physical assessment test. Stage 2: Candidates who pass the Physical Assessment Test and Driving Test are eligible to move on to the next round of testing. A screening exam will be given in Stage 2 to narrow down the candidates.

The test will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions with four possible responses, each lasting one hour, and distributed as follows:

There are 20 questions in math, 20 in science, and 10 in general awareness. Each accurate response will receive three points, and each wrong response will receive one point.

All applicants who score below 40% will be eliminated. Stage 3: All candidates who passed the Stage 2 screening will take an advanced exam pertinent to their programme. The test will include 50 multiple-choice questions with four possible responses that are course related. Each accurate response receives three points, while each incorrect response loses one point. The test will last for two hours. All applicants who score below 30% will be eliminated.
