TNSWA: The Union Environment Ministry notified the new Wetland (Conservation and Management) Rules 2017 on September 26, 2017, replacing the 2010 version of the rules in a momentous decision. The new laws require each state and union territory to establish a State Wetlands Authority, which will be led by the state’s environment minister and comprise a variety of government officials. The state government will also select one expert in each of the categories of wetland ecology, hydrology, fisheries, landscape design, and socioeconomics.

Consultant-B GIS Specialist:
Remote Sensing MTech with 9 years of experience (or) M.E. Remote Sensing with 10-11 years of experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and GIS software.
Environmental Science Expert (Pollution): Consultant-A (Junior Consultant):
Ph.D. in Environmental Science with 5 years of experience specializing on pollution research (or) M.Sc. Environmental Science, specialized in pollution studies, with 8 years of experience and strong MS Office skills.
Climate Consultant-A (Junior Consultant):
Ph.D. in Environmental Science with a specialisation in Climatology and 5 years of experience (or) M.Sc. Environmental Science specialised in Climatology with 8 years’ experience and good MS Office knowledge.
