The OPGC: Modern thermal power plants are run by the Government of Odisha company Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (OPGC) at the Ib Thermal Power Station at Banharpalli, Jharsuguda. It can generate a total of 1740 MW (2 210 MW in the first phase and 2 660 MW in the second). For the following roles, which will have a market-based salary (MBS) structure and performance-based service requirements on our regular rolls, we are searching for young, vivacious, and goal-oriented professionals. We would abide by the reservation laws that the Odisha government has made known.

Detailed Eligibility:

Qualifications in Education:

Operation Assistant Manager:

A mechanical or electrical engineering bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent degree, with at least 60%. The desired degree is one from an NPTI or CEA accredited training institution. 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification)

O&M (Mechanical) Assistant Manager:

a minimum grade point average of 60 percent and a degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent. The desired degree is one from an NPTI or CEA accredited training institution. 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification)

O&M (Mechanical) Assistant Manager – CHP:

a minimum grade point average of 60 percent and a degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent. The desired degree is one from an NPTI or CEA accredited training institution. 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification)

O&M (Mechanical) Assistant Manager AHP:

A minimum grade point average of 60 percent and a degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent. The desired degree is one from an NPTI or CEA accredited training institution. 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification)

O&M (Electrical) Assistant Manager:

a minimum 60 percent grade point average and a degree in electrical or EEE engineering. A diploma from a training facility authorised by the NPTI or CEA is desirable. 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification)

O&M (Electrical) Assistant Manager at CHP:

a minimum 60 percent grade point average and a degree in electrical or EEE engineering. Preferably, a diploma from an NPTI/CEA-approved training facility 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification)

(Electrical/Mechanical) Assistant Manager C & RA:

Mechanical or electrical engineering bachelor’s degree or its equivalent It will be preferred if you have a graduate degree in regulatory management from NPTI. Minimum 3 Years of Experience (post-qualification)

O&M Assistant Manager (C & I):

a minimum 60 percent grade point average and a degree in electronics, instrumentation, or similar ECE engineering. The desired degree is one from an NPTI or CEA accredited training institution. 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification)

Assistant Finance Manager:

Chartered Accountants of India (CA) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India final test must have been passed (CMA). 3+ Years of Experience (post-qualification).

21 to 42 years of age maximum

Selection Procedure for OPGC Recruitment 2022:

Only personal interviews will be used to evaluate candidates who have been shortlisted for any position. A person does not automatically qualify for shortlisting for the interview simply by meeting the qualification requirements outlined above. The candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the personal interview, the needs of the business, and the open positions. The Management retains the right to increase the minimum eligibility standards/criteria by taking into consideration the qualification and/or experience to restrict the number of candidates for assessment/personal interview in the event of a high number of short-listed candidates.
