Government of India, Railway Recruitment Board has published a detailed centralized notification on 10th February 2018 for various Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The online applications are invited in different units of Indian Railways. The last date till candidates can apply for the Railway Recruitment Board Posts  is 12th March 2018. Other details like Qualification, experience, age limit, pay scale, allowances and how to apply is given below:

Railway Posts 2018.

Vacancy details.
1. The selection will take place through Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification.
2. The date, time, venue shall be conveyed in due course.

Selection Process for Railway Jobs 2018.
1. The Computer Based Test requires minimum 40% for General, 30% for OBC/SC/ST candidates. Relaxation of 2% is for Persons with disability (PWD) candidates.
2. The test includes 100 questions including Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General awareness on current affairs.
3. Then, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will take place where Male & Female candidates have different qualifying criteria.
4. The Male candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down and one should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
5. The Female candidates should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down and one should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance

Note-
1. The candidates waiting for results of final examination should NOT apply.
2. All the candidates seeking reservation benefits must have reservation certificate as prescribed format in support of their claim.
3. The candidate has to provide their valid & active mobile numbers so as to get any update regarding recruitment.

Age Limit.
1. The age limit to apply for the candidates applying for Railway recruitment posts is 18 to 31 years as on 1st July 2018.
2. The Age relaxation in upper age limit for.
I. SC/ST candidate is 5 years.
II. OBC candidates is 3 years
III. Ex-servicemen candidates are up to extent of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years.
IV. Person with disabilities is 10 years.
V. PWD (OBC) candidate is 13 years.
VI. PWD (SC/ST) candidate is 15 years.

RRB 2018 Application Fee.
1. The application fee is Rs.500/ for General & OBC candidates.
2. The application fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ PEDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class is Rs.250/-.
3. The fee from online mode has to be paid by Debit or credit card.
4. The fee from offline mode has to be paid by SBI Bank challan Payment in any SBI branch.
5. The fee from Post Office challan mode Payment can also be paid in any computerized Post office branch.

Railway RRB Application Process 2018.
1. First, go to the official website i.e. www.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. Select ‘Recruitment’ option. A webpage with names of Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) will appear.
3. The location name has to be selected.
4. Select ‘Detailed Centralized Employment Notice 02/2018 (in English)’ option.
5. Read all the details carefully.
6. Then, click ‘Click here to Apply for CEN 02/2018’. Choose the required location.
7. Read the information given before the candidates apply for the Post.
8. Then, tick mark both options conveying that the candidate agree to the instructions and fulfills the eligibility criteria.
9. Then, click ‘Submit’ option.
10. Fill all basic details including name, DOB, Aadhar details, 10th roll number, year of passing, mobile number & email ID.
11. The candidate will go through the verification process of Email ID & mobile number.
12. Deposite fee through Net banking/ SBI Challan/ Post Office Challan.
13. Upload Photo & Documents as asked including photograph and SC/ST certificate.
14. After the whole process, take a print out of the application for future utilization.

Important Documents required at the time of verification.
1. Scanned colored photograph (JPEG image of size 20 to 50KB).
2. SC/ST Certificate (JPEG image of size 50 to 100KB).
3. Matriculation/High School Examination Certificate.
4. Proof for Date of Birth.
5. NCVT(NTC/NAC) / SCVT Certificate .
6. SC/ST certificate format given in the official notification.
7. OBC-NCL certificate in the format given in the official notification.
8. Non creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates.
9. Income Certificate for Waiving Examination Fee for Economically Backward Classes.
10. Original discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen.
11. Photo Copy of both sides of Aadhaar Card.
12. Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) as applicable.
13. NOC from serving employees with date of appointment.
14. NOC from Serving Defence Personnel with probable date of discharge.
15. Minority Community declaration on Non – judicial Stamp Paper as given in the official notification.
16. Gazette notification and/or any Legal document in case of formal change of name as men.
17. Receipt of payment if made through a challan at SBI branch or Pay-in-slip at computerized post office.
18. Self Certification by the Transgender candidates
19. J & K domicile certificate.
20. Decree of divorce/judicial separation from the competent Court of Law as applicable and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried.
21. Death Certificate of spouse in case of widow candidate and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried.
22. Ex-Servicemen candidates who secure civil employment after applying for this CEN should give self declaration to the concerned employer about the details of application against this CEN, as soon as they join. The acknowledged copy of this declaration along with NOC from the civil employer should be produced during DV.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB jobs 2018.
The education qualification required to apply for the posts in Railways is Educational/Technical qualifications from recognized board/NCVT/SCVT as given below.
1. Passed 10th with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
(OR)
2. Passed 10th with ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT
(OR)
3. Passed 10th Or ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent
(OR)
4. Passed 10th or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

Important Dates.
1. The last date to apply for the posts is 12th March 2018.
2. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will take place in April & May 2018.
