West Bengal Municipal Service Commission has notified for the job notifications of recruitment of 45 Health Officer vacancies. Health Officer : 45 Posts.

WBMSC 2018 Job Details.
1. The 45 Posts are Unreserved and there is only one post in individual urban local bodies.
2. The candidate should have the ability to read, write & speak in Bengali.
3. This is not required if the candidate speaks Nepali and is from hill areas of Darjeeling district.

West Bengal MSC 2018 Education Qualification.
1. The candidate should have medical qualifications.
2. One should have Post graduate degree or post graduate diploma in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management and Hospital Administration.
3. One should be Registered as Medical practitioner with the State Medical Council of West Bengal.

Age Limit.
1. The age limit for ordinary graduates is 36 years.
2. The candidates having post graduate qualification has 2 years relaxation.
3. The age relaxation can be given to doctors who have served under this state govt. to an extent equivalent to the period of such regular services subject to a maximum 5 years.
4. Age relaxation may be given to doctors who has worked in State Govt on contractual basis for maximum 3 years.
5. The maximum 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST &PH candidates.
6. The OBC candidates of West Bengal can get relaxation upto 3 years.

WBMSC Application Fee.
1. The application fee for Unreserved & OBC candidate is Rs.150/-.
2. The processing charges is Rs.50/- and Rs.20/- for Bank charges for challan deposit.

Salary Package.
1. The Scale of Pay is Rs.15,600/- to Rs.42,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-.
2. The dearness allowances, House rent allowance & Medical allowance will be admissible.
