Education Required.

1. The post of Director Agricultural Experiment Station & Director Extension Post requires candidates to have Ph.D degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences.
2. The candidate with good academic background will be preferred.
3. The Post of Joint Director Research & Joint Director Extension requires Ph.D. degree in any branch of Agriculture or allied Sciences.
4. The Professor & Assistant Professor Posts requires candidates to have Ph.D in relevant subjects.
5. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the SC/ST/Differently-abled (Physically and visually handicapped) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. Rounding off of marks to make it to 55% or 50% as the case may be through grace mark procedure etc., by universities is not permissible for claiming relaxation.

Application Fee.

1. The application fee to apply for the Posts is Rs.1500/-.
2. The application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs.750/-.
3. The fee has to be paid through Demand Draft in favor of Comptroller, SVP University of Agriculture & Technology, Meerut payable at Meerut.

Salary Package.

1. The Pay Scale for the post of Director/ Professor/ Jr.Director is Rs.37,400/- to Rs.67,000/-. ( Starting pay is Rs.43,000/-).
2. The Pay Scale for the Post of Associate Professor is Rs.37,400/- to Rs.67,000/-.

Note-

The period of active service spent on pursuing Research Degree i.e. for acquiring Ph.D. Degree simultaneously without taking any kind of leave may be counted as teaching experience for the purpose of direct recruitment/promotion to the post of Associate Professor
